Clean Buildings Expo Debuts March 2019

Milwaukee, Wis. (March 9, 2018) — An all-new trade show for the commercial cleaning industry, Clean Buildings Expo (CBE), makes its debut at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD, March 26-27, 2019. Designed for end-users of cleaning products and equipment, CBE fills an immediate need for education and product information in the building-rich Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. Decision-makers in health care, education, government, and hospitality facilities, as well as building service contractors, will attend. CBE will be co-located with the National Facilities Management & Technology (NFMT) Show Baltimore, a premier event in the facilities management market. Clean Buildings Expo is a joint venture brought to market by two industry leaders: Trade Press Media Group and ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association.

"There is an unserved need for a commercial cleaning industry event that's located in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic," said Jeff Schenk, President and CEO of Trade Press Media Group. "The location and timing of the show will appeal to many significant buyers."

Show organizers anticipate an audience of approximately 1,200 buyers, comprised of cleaning managers, executive housekeepers, facility managers, and principals in building service contracting firms.

"ISSA's strong relationship with cleaning equipment and technology suppliers via our annual trade show will attract a wide variety of exhibitors to the expo," said John Barrett, ISSA Executive Director. "Exhibiting companies will include manufacturers and leading industry suppliers of floor and carpet cleaning equipment, chemicals, restroom supplies, and green cleaning products. CBE promises to be a very synergistic event."

Clean Buildings Expo will also host a robust conference with more than 25 sessions addressing best-in-class operations, staffing and management strategies and cleaning technologies. Curated by ISSA and Trade Press's media brands Facility Cleaning Decisions, Contracting Profits, and CleanLink.com, the agenda will feature subject matter experts from a wide range of stakeholders in the cleaning industry, including building service contractors, in-house cleaning executives, industry consultants, and associations.

"At CBE, end-users can learn about the latest products and procedures to help improve their businesses and departments," said Wendy Dietzler, Trade Press Media Group's Vice President of Education. "By co-locating with NFMT, Clean Buildings Expo will educate building owners and facility executives alike about the cleaning innovations and trends. This sharing of knowledge will enhance the relationship between facility executives and their cleaning product and service providers."
