Get the most out of your ProTeam Backpack Vacuum
If you knew you could get more out of your equipment just by following a few simple maintenance steps, you would want to know what those steps are, right?
While ProTeam vacuums are known for their long lifespan, they perform better and last longer when properly maintained. Fortunately, maintenance is easy — the key is knowing what to do and when to do it.
Show Your Vacuum Some Love with Good Filter Care
There are several steps you can take to keep your backpack vacuum in the best shape, like proper storage and good cord care, but one maintenance recommendation rises above the rest — filter maintenance. Your vacuum's motor depends on good filtration to function properly — this means you need to follow the manufacturer's recommendations for filter maintenance for optimal performance.
4 Levels of Filtration to Capture and Contain
Intercept Micro Filter Empty and inspect the Intercept Micro Filter every time you start and finish vacuuming. Replace the filter if any tears or clogged pores are present. Micro Cloth Filter Daily check for tears in the rubber gasket or cloth. Hand or machine wash once a month and let the filter AIR dry (do not put in a dryer or use fabric softener).
Dome Filter This should be cleaned weekly. Shake out, rinse the foam filter, and let it AIR dry.
HEPA Media Filter Inspect these filters monthly and replace them when they become discolored.
Follow these guidelines to help ensure you get the most out of your ProTeam backpack vacuum. For complete information, please review the vacuum's owner manual.
