BACK TO SCHOOL GUIDE
FOR BUILDING SERVICE CONTRACTORS
As America's students head back to the classroom in the Fall of 2021, building service contractors will need to get prepared to address infection prevention protocols.
With many of the nation's children still unvaccinated, returning to school in fall 2021 poses new challenges for schools, their staff, students, teachers, parents, and the broader school community. Though we have made great progress in reducing the spread of COVID-19, maintaining a safe and healthy school environment will still involve a number of mitigation strategies, including reducing the risk of exposure to the virus through a managed program of cleaning and disinfection by trained custodial contractors.
The First Pillar of Infection Prevention - Disinfection
We have come a long way in the past year when it comes to understanding disinfection for SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) and even have several products approved by the EPA with specific claims for the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Be sure to select a disinfectant that has been approved by the EPA to kill SARS-CoV-2 when cleaning schools.

The Second Pillar of Infection Prevention - Hand Hygiene
Hand washing and sanitizing solutions are an important part of any infection prevention program. Spartan'sfoamyiQ can be installed in multiple locations so you have on demand sanitizing capabilities, as well as ease of access to hand washing stations.
The Third Pillar of Infection Prevention - Staff Training
In order to achieve this certification, participants must have an active BSC agreement with Spartan Chemical and complete all the modules in CleanCheck.
The Fourth Pillar of Infection Prevention - Peace of Mind
Provide peace of mind for parents, students, and staff through customized signage that advises them that the space has been cleaned and sanitized.
