He has founded or co-founded many leading entrepreneurial companies. He also counsels the world's top enterprises on how to utilize exponential technologies and incentivized innovation to dramatically accelerate their business objectives.

His presentation titled, “How The Future Is Better Than You Think” will expose you to future trends and gives you ideas how to utilize trending technologies to grown your business today.

 

Dr. Richard Besser, MD

 

Dr. Richard Besser, MD.  is a leading worldwide healthcare expert. At the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), he served as director of the Coordinating Office for Terrorism Preparedness and Emergency Response.  He also served as Acting Director for the CDC and Acting Administrator for the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry from January to June 2009, during which time he led the CDC's response to the H1N1 influenza outbreak.

Dr. Besser is now ABC News' Chief Health and Medical Editor. In this role, he provides medical analysis and commentary for ABC News broadcasts and platforms, including "World News with Diane Sawyer," "Good Morning America," and "Nightline.”

The author and coauthor of hundreds of presentations, abstracts, chapters, editorials and publications, Dr. Besser has received many awards for his work in public health and volunteer service.

His presentation on “Pandemics, Preparedness and Public Health” will provide insight on how the cleaning industry can and should be a key player in Local, National and global health initiatives.
